There used to be a woman(she's since retired) at the Georgia State Archives who specialized in the study of 18th and 19th century handwriting styles/trends. She gives lectures from time to time there at the GA Archives about reading old handwriting; I attended one a few months ago and thought it was really cool. <br /><br />Good luck in your studies!
